2020 Forever Plaid: Tartans Together

On November 14, 2020 the St. Margaret’s community held a re-imagined and virtual Forever Plaid event to support the PTF grant program.  Families joined for games, contests, raffles and fellowship.


2019 Forever Plaid: Ruby Anniversary

More than 500 members of St. Margaret’s community came together in November to celebrate the school’s 40th anniversary with a night of fun, fellowship and generous support of St. Margaret's and its students during the 2019 Forever Plaid: Ruby Anniversary at the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach. More than $400,000 was raised in support of this year’s Fund A Need, a Student Commons project announced at the event.

PTF Tartan Family BBQ

The Tartan community came together for an evening with delicious food, great music and fun activities as the PTF Tartan Family BBQ & Tailgate welcomed more than 1,100 people to the Lower School field September 2019. After the event, the community proceeded to Tartan Field to watch the St. Margaret’s football game against La Mirada.

St. Margaret’s Celebrates 40th Birthday With All-School Party

On October 1, 2019, the entire early childhood – grade 12 student body and professional community gathered on Chalmers Field for a party for the ages celebrating the 40th birthday of St. Margaret’s. Students played games—jump rope, football and beanbag toss, birthday crown-making and coloring station, hula hoop, pin the tail on the Scottie, and Rubik’s cube solving—danced to 1979 hits spun by a DJ, enjoyed birthday cupcakes courtesy of the PTF, and were delighted with a surprise rain of crimson and blue streamers and confetti over the gathering that kicked off the celebration!

PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony
The 13th annual PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony kicked off the holiday season with homemade cookies, hot cocoa, a visit from Santa Claus and the lighting of the St. Margaret’s tree in the Fountain Courtyard in December 2019.
