PTF Forever Plaid: A Life of Adventure

St. Margaret’s school community came together to support the school and its students at the PTF’s annual all-school fundraiser Forever Plaid: A Life of Adventure at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach. More than 400 parents, professional community members, Trustees, alumni and supporters of St. Margaret’s attended and enjoyed a night of dinner, dancing, fun and fellowship. Silent and live auctions took place, as well as a special Fund A Need, Pathway to Adventure, in which supporters could purchase commemorative bricks to be installed outside of the new St. Margaret’s Commons.

PTF Tartan Family BBQ

The Tartan community gathered in a spirited celebration at Chalmers Field for the annual PTF Tartan Family Barbecue, drawing more than 1,300 attendees. The event offered an evening of great food, lively games, and Tartan pride. At the end of the event, the community was led to Tartan Field by the stirring sounds of bagpipers and led by St. Margaret’s cheer squad, before the start of the football game. In addition, attendees were offered a sneak peek of the development of the St. Margaret’s Commons building. Families had the opportunity to sign a commemorative beam, symbolizing their support and excitement for the future community space.

PTF Welcome Back Coffee

The PTF warmly welcomed parents to Cloobeck Family Atrium for its annual Welcome Back Coffee at the beginning of the school year, offering an opportunity for the Tartan community to reconnect while exploring a variety of volunteer opportunities and programming for the upcoming year through the PTF. Parents and the professional community visited informational tables that showcased both division-specific roles and all-school events, including the popular Forever Plaid, the PTF Online Auction, the PTF Book Fair, and the Parent Up Speaker Series.This gathering served as a moment for parents to engage with the school community and learn how they may contribute to the success of St. Margaret’s throughout the year.

PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony

St. Margaret’s holiday spirit shone brightly as more than 200 members of the Tartan community gathered for the 18th annual PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Fountain Courtyard. The evening was filled with joy, festive treats, and holiday cheer. Families enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate while delighting in a special visit from Santa. Grade 5 student leadership helped students write letters to Santa and drop them in a special mailbox bound for the North Pole. The excitement peaked during the traditional countdown to light the Christmas tree, led by Head of School Dr. Jeneen Graham alongside a Lower School student.
