Tartan Scenes: Spring 2025
PTF Forever Plaid: Casino Noir
The Tartan community—parents, professional community, Trustees, alumni and friends—came together in November at Forever Plaid: Casino Noir, the annual all-school fundraiser in support of St. Margaret’s Episcopal School.
With festive decorations reminiscent of Las Vegas of an earlier time, attendees could bid on silent and live auction items, play Vegas-style table games, socialize with fellow community members, enjoy amazing food and listen to great music.
“The Forever Plaid all-school fundraiser was truly remarkable. It was one of the school’s largest events ever and the positive energy in the room was palpable. The core value of community was absolutely alive and well,” Head of School Dr. Jeneen Graham said. “The Parent Teacher Fellowship is such a tremendous partner at the school and we are so grateful for all they do in support of our students.”

PHOTOS: PTF Tartan Family BBQ and Fun Zone
The St. Margaret’s community came together for an evening of fun and friendship, as the annual PTF Tartan Family BBQ welcomed more than 1,000 students, parents, professional community and Tartan supporters to Chalmers Field.
The attendees enjoyed fun and games, live music, food from Bad to the Bone, and ice cream from Handels. All across Chalmers Field, students and families came together to play a variety of tailgate games like cornhole, gaga ball, soccer and hula hooping. There were tables for temporary tattoos, and opportunities to purchase Tartan gear from the spirit cart or buy customizable Tartan sweatshirts as a fundraiser for Tartans Thrive.

PTF Welcome Back Coffee and Winter Coffee
St. Margaret’s Parent Teacher Fellowship welcomed parents to Sillers Hall in August for the Welcome Back Coffee, an annual start-of-year gathering for the Tartan community to reconnect and learn more about volunteer opportunities within the PTF.

PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony
A cherished holiday tradition at St. Margaret’s continued last weekend, as more than 300 members of the Tartan community came together for the 17th annual PTF Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Fountain Courtyard.
